Turkish baths have gained worldwide recognition. This is one of the types of classic bathing traditions that has survived to this day.

The main feature of Hamam is the unique temperature and humidity conditions for bathing. The temperature in Hamam does not exceed comfortable 40-50 degrees Celsius. With almost 100% air humidity, the effect of detoxifying the body and removing toxins in a Turkish bath is quite comparable to incandescent Finnish saunas. But at the same time, a person does not feel exhausted by excessive heat. Moreover, if a visit to the Russian bath has many contraindications in terms of cardiovascular diseases, then Hamam, on the contrary, is recommended for their normalization.

The healing properties of the Turkish bath have been known since antiquity. The great Arab physician and scientist Avicenna (Ibn Sina) considered Hamam one of the most powerful means of healing and treatment. The Hamam procedure includes five steps: warming up the body, energetic massage (hard, deep and relaxing at the same time, after which the body becomes light and flexible), peeling (rubbing off dead skin particles with a hard mitten, the body becomes smooth and shiny), soaping with hot soapy soap and pouring water from a copper bowl, and then relaxation in the rest room.
