Marmaris City Tour and Akyaka River Cruise, our drivers will come to your hotel and pick you up. When you’re picked up, you’ll meet our guides, too. All of our tour guides are certified. They’ll accompany you during the trip and answer any questions you have on topics you want to learn more about!

After some times on the road, we’ll arrive at the first stop. But first, we’ll give some breaks at amazing landscapes for photography.

Photography Stops: We’ll make a photo stop at a fantastic location where you can get the greatest images of Icmeler. Then, we’ll take a quick picture break on a gorgeous road surrounded by Eucalyptus trees. It is also known as “lovers’ road”. According to the beliefs, you fall in love with the person with whom you pass the road. After taking photos, we’ll visit Akyaka.

We’ll see pretty interesting rock tombs. Wealthy individuals were buried in rooms hollowed out of a massive rock in ancient Akyaka, when it was known as Idyma. We’ll show you where six emperors were buried.

These Hellenistic rock-cut tombs date back to the period of the Greeks. Of course, our knowledgeable guides will enlighten you more.

Next, we’ll walk to the harbor.  Boat Trip On the Azmak River, we’ll take a nice boat ride. The river is lined by thick reeds and cafes. You’ll love the water, too. Even if it’s quite cold, salmon trout, ducks, flamingos, turtles and many birds live in the environment.

The ride will last for 30 minutes. Don’t forget taking photos!

Free Time in Akyaka: We’ll spend some time in Akyaka Town after taking a short journey there.

You will get one hour to go through Akyaka’s alleys or shopping for gifts at the boulevard’s handmade stores. Akyaka is famous for its unique form of traditional texture. And this reflects Turkey’s environment, nature, and cultural heritage perfectly.

At the end, we’ll go back to Marmaris. Short Breaks on the Way to Marmaris & Lunch

During the ride, we’ll give some short breaks. We’ll make a photo stop at a Marmaris perspective. This will be the ideal location for photographing the entire city of Marmaris.

When we return to Marmaris, we’ll stop at a shop in which you can taste some delightful Turkish delights. Then, we’ll visit a restaurant to eat Turkish Kebab as lunch!

Marmaris – Tomb of Sariana:  After wating something, we’ll visit a magical place. Sariana is a well-known fortune teller from the 16th century who resided in the Marmaris area and we’ll visit her tomb. Luckily, the tomb’s entry is available to the public. Tourists come to her for prayer or guidance. Inside, you’ll find an authentic atmosphere and get interested!      Nimera Cave – Last Stop At the end, we’ll see a very mythological place.

Numerous prehistoric sites have been discovered here. The cave has been designated as an important archaeological site. Even if it’s not that large, goddess Leth, Zeus’s wife and mother of the Apollo once lived here. So it’s pretty important.
